FAQ's

Info about our studio

  • Please do not arrive earlier then 10 minutes before your exam. This is a smaller studio, without a waiting room, so you will need to wait in your car until it is time for your exam.

  • You can bring as many people as you would like with you! I have seating for about 5-6 people, but your guests are more than welcome to stand.

  • Kids are always welcome! If they get bored throughout the exam, I have a small playroom for them that we can open up.

  • When arriving at the address, GPS will most likely take you to the South side of the building. We are located on the North side, closest to Lanham Music. â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹

Preparation For Exams

2D Exams

  • Come with a full bladder, and try to drink something sugary about 10 minutes before your exam so baby is up and moving around

3D/4D Exams- Very important to prep for this exam

  • About a week before your exam, try to start hydrating as much as possible, with water. The more hydrated you are, the more fluid you should have, which will give us the better/clear pictures. Hydration is KEY in these exams, if you have a lower amount of fluid, it will be harder to see baby.

  • About 10 minutes before your exam, try to drink something sugary. Coffee, orange juice or apple juice all work well. This is just to get baby up and moving around for us. If you have gestational diabetes, really cold ice water, right as you're walking into the studio will also work great. Small snacks are okay but try not to eat a large meal before your exam, it will usually put baby to sleep!

  • Try to schedule your appointment when baby is usually up and active

SneakPeek Gender Blood Test

  • No prep for this exam

  • No males allowed when doing the blood test. If any male accompanies you, they will be asked to wait out in the car. The blood test is sensitive, so any males in the room increases the chance of cross contamination producing a false result.
